We took our car for a check engine light one day. We did not hear from anyone from the shop after 2 days, so WE called to find out the status.(It seemed very suspicious right then and there, because usually a general shop would call at most, after 24 hours to give you an update.) The manager simply stated that it might be the gas cap causing it and that they were still working on it. After a few days, the manager calls and says that the car is ready and that our repairs came out to $297. He informed us that gas cap and vacuum ts were repaired. We were very shocked because they did not give us a quote or obtain a verbal permission BEFORE getting the work done --instead, he went ahead and repaired the car without even getting our ok first. Unfortunately, we had to borrow funds in order to pay for the repairs. Worst of all, the manager did not discount ANY labor, or even apologize for HIS mistake. If I were the owners, I would be very concerned with the people working there. TAKE YOUR CAR

I have taken several of my vehicles to this shop. One was there for 5 weeks. Every time I called I got the same answer - it would be ready the next day. When I finally picked it up, it broke down on the way home.

I personally like to do most of the repairs and maintenance on my vehicles and consider myself fairly knowledgeable. If I have trouble figuring something out or just don’t have the time to do it myself, I’ll bring my vehicles to Chandler Auto Truck Electric. The owners and mechanics are outstanding! They are honest, experienced, and very knowledgeable. They focus on solving the problem rather then trying to find ways to get more money out of you like so many other shops do. I’ve been bringing my vehicles to them for over 15 years and they have always stood behind their work and been very fair with what they charged.
